Inspiration

Well, this is just a page with alot of images regarding of my inspriation for this website, art, and many more! maybe this will give you some inspo too! Do i reccomend playing or checking out the contents of these games?... no, considering they involve alot of *problematic* imagery that i don't support at all. then again, it was 90's japan.

"But muse, why are to interested in this japanese computer and it's games if majority of them have weird content in them?" you might be asking. well.. i'm glad you asked! i mainly enjoy it for the visuals, history, and music *alone* and not take interest in that part of games! I get inspired by the screenshots (spefically GUI and how it looks) alone and only a small chunk of gameplay. Don't worry, there are games without those subjects that you can still enjoy, like Feti, Rusty, Brandish, and others. you just gotta look hard enough for it! I will not show any of the NSFW content in them but there will be notes of what i like about the inspo!

Gakuen sodom kyoshitsu no mesudroeitachi (PC-98)

• "The protagonist of the game is a teacher in St. Marianna Girls High School, which his sister also attends. One day, a maniac breaks into the school, and, holding the protagonist and the students at gunpoint. He then holds them hostage and forces them to perform violent and humiliating sexual acts with each other. The whole story of the game is basically a long stretch of such acts, while the maniac (and the protagonist) have to deal with new situations, such as arrival of police, journalists, etc." -Mobygame.com
• Notes: it basically translates to "Schoolgirls, sadomasochistic activities, and female campers in their dorm rooms.".. soo, self explainatory. i enjoy the visuals (havent heard the music yet.. i think) but uhhhhhh.. yeah. The description says it itself. But i enjoy the GUI and art!

Harenochi munasawagi (PC-98)

• "The story of Harenochi Munasawagi does not start in a very original way: the protagonist is a high-school boy named Kazuhiko, who is - surprise! - permanently horny, displaying his "affections" at any given opportunity to anyone young and female, including even his childhood friend Chihiro. But while the focus on the story is on Kazuhiko and his quest for physical intimacy (which often results in girls getting angry and beating him up), there are other rather disturbing elements that come into play later - in particular, bunny-like demons who share Kazuhiko's passion for the opposite sex..." -Mobygames.com
• Notes: "After the sunny weather, a feeling of unease." From the looks of it, another 18+ game but i really enjoy the isometric look of the school map! and hey, it was also made by Cocktail soft!

Gloria (PC-98)

• "In Gloria, the player controls a British exchange student with a good reputation in an American university, soon employed by a famous millionaire who wants the player to be a tutor for his daughters. He has five of them, all living in a beautiful mansion. Now it's up to the player to educate them... The game is a standard Japanese-style adventure. The player interacts with the environments by selecting text commands from a menu. There are no puzzles, but occasional choices made by the player, which might influence subsequent events. • Notes: It's uhh.. a interesting game, but!! it's very stunning with it's color choices!!

Xenon: Mugen no Shitai (PC-98)

• "Xenon is an erotic sci-fi visual novel. The player takes control of Koji by occasionally making decisions, most involving choosing a location to travel to. The entire game is confined to the space station of Koji's dream and the high school building of reality. Depending on the player's decisions the story may branch into different directions, creating alternate versions of Koji's dream." -Mobygames.com
• Notes: Such a moody color choices with rich purples and blues!!

True Love (PC-98)

• "True Love is a simulation of dating, with role-playing elements. You control a high school student looking for his true love. The goal of the game is to win the girls' hearts before your last summer of freedom is over. Every day when you wake up you plan your schedule for morning, afternoon and evening. Your choices (such as pleasure, sports, study, etc.) determine what special events will occur on that day (if any), and also raise your skills in the selected category. Different girls in the game (there are ten of them) have different interests, goals and preferences. If your skills in the category they find most important are high enough, you have a chance to get that girl into your bed." -Mobygames.com
• Notes: The chibi art-style is adorable!! that and it's monochrome background is eye catching!

Takamizawa Kyosuke Nekketsu!! Kyoiku Kenshu (PC-98)

• "Kyosuke Takamizawa is a twenty-three year old man who has been having some trouble finding a job. His last teaching experience wasn't particularly successful, and now he is out for better opportunities in the city. However, his real focus is on his charming female acquaintances - from high-school students to waitresses, neighbors, and other women populating the city."
  "Takamizawa Kyosuke Nekketsu!! Kyoiku Kenshu is a Japanese-style adventure that focuses on getting acquainted with and gradually conquering various female characters. The player is presented with a map of two districts, each with a dozen locations that can be freely visited. • Notes: Especially a huge fan of how the help screen (last image), i love how simple the GUI is and how vibrant the colors are! the art style is a bit.. clichee.. but it's charming!

Slayers (PC-98)

They are accosted a pair of bandits, who are quickly taken out by Lina's magic. Lina immediately decides that this is their next destination, and off they go to Welnan to prepare. • Notes: The art style is a HUGE inspiration for me!! the expressions are so unique and cute, especially how stylized the eyes are!! that and i'm a SUCKER for RPGs and dugeon crawlers!!
